Heights or Huffhines Room
The comfortable Heights and Huffhines rooms are mirror images of each other and two of the smaller rooms within the Parks Room. These rooms are each 675 square feet with a 8’ 9”ceiling and are capable of seating up to 60 people, depending on the arrangement. Restrooms are conveniently located just down the hall. With beautifully carpeted floors, dimming lights and plenty of electrical outlets these rooms are perfect for a wide assortment of events. The Heights and Huffhines rooms also have access to a detached preparation kitchen with ice machine, freezer, and refrigeration, which lends itself easily to catered affairs.
We provide a full inventory of tables, linens and chairs for the Heights or Huffhines rooms as well as any other area of the civic center, along with, podium, slide and overhead projectors, marker boards, and other equipment necessary for your event, such as flip charts and easels. These rooms are casual and comfortable containing their own independent audio-visual systems complete with ceiling mounted LCD projectors and wireless presentation remotes, 69” x 92” retractable screens, and DVD/VCR units.
These 25’ x 27’ rooms have hosted seminars, educational classes, baby & bridal showers and working lunches. So whether you are hosting a theatre-style session for 60, a classroom-style educational seminar or meeting for 36, a boardroom meeting for 26, or u-shaped meeting for 20 these rooms are ideal for your event.
A Heights or Huffhines room booking is available for half-day or full-day periods Monday – Saturday. Half-day bookings are either 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. On Friday and Saturday the room is available until midnight. Additional time can be purchased at $50 per half-hour as early as 6:00 a.m. and as late as 5:00 p.m. A Heights or Huffhines room booking includes a personalized setup of tables & chairs and the following amenities:
