Parks Room

The Parks Room is a cozy and welcoming, 2,000 square foot setting with a 8’ 9”ceiling. This room is capable of seating up to 120 people, depending on the arrangement. Restrooms are conveniently located just down the hall. With beautifully carpeted floors, dimming lights and electrical outlets on every wall, this room is suited for a variety of events. The Parks Room also has a detached preparation kitchen with ice machine, freezer, and refrigeration, which lends itself easily to catered affairs.
 
 We provide a full inventory of tables, linens and chairs for the Parks Room as well as any other area of the civic center, along with, podium, slide and overhead projectors, marker boards, and other equipment necessary for your event, such as flip charts & easels.
 
 This 27’ x 75’ room has hosted seminars, educational classes, baby & bridal showers, parties and receptions. So whether you are holding a theatre-style session for 120, a classroom-style educational seminar or meeting for 75, planning a banquet for 80 or a wedding reception for 64 the Parks Room is just the thing for your event.
 
 This room is also equipped with movable walls for the flexibility to configure up to three, roughly 650 square foot rooms each accommodating up to 60 people, depending on the arrangement.
 
 This room has three 69” x 69” retractable screens, which can be linked together to have the same audio-visual presentation showing on all three screens at the same time.
 
 Parks room bookings are available for half-day or full-day periods Monday – Saturday. Half-day bookings are either 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. On Friday and Saturday the room is available until midnight. Additional time can be purchased at $50 per half-hour as early as 6:00 a.m. and as late as 5:00 p.m. A Parks room booking includes a personalized setup of tables & chairs and the following amenities:
