Richardson Room
The Richardson Room is a warm and inviting, 2,300 square foot setting with a 9’ 9” ceiling. This room is capable of seating up to 220 people, depending on the arrangement. Restrooms are conveniently located directly across the hall. The Richardson Room features an independent audio-visual system complete with ceiling mounted LCD projector and wireless presentation mouse, 69” x 92” retractable screen, wireless microphone system, DVD/CD player and VCR unit. With beautifully carpeted floors, dimming lights and electrical outlets on every wall this room is suited for a variety of events. The Richardson Room also has an adjoining preparation kitchen with microwave, ice machine, freezer, and refrigeration, which lends itself easily to catered affairs.
We provide a full inventory of tables, linens and chairs for the Richardson Room, as well as any other area of the civic center, along with, podium, slide and overhead projectors, marker boards, and other equipment necessary for your event, such as flip charts & easels.
This 44’ x 52’ room has hosted seminars, educational classes, rehearsal dinners, press conferences, birthday & holiday parties and wedding receptions. So whether you are hosting a theatre-style general session for 220, a classroom-style educational seminar or meeting for 105, planning a banquet for 96, or a wedding reception for 80 the Richardson Room is the just right for your event.
Richardson Room bookings are available for half-day or full-day periods, except on Friday and Saturdays when it is only available for full-day bookings. Half-day bookings are either 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. On Friday and Saturday the room is available until midnight. Additional time can be purchased at $50 per half-hour as early as 6:00 a.m. and as late as 5:00 p.m. A Richardson Room booking includes a personalized setup of tables & chairs and the following amenities:
