Grand Hall
The Grand Hall is a column free, 8,400 square foot space with a 14’ 2” ceiling. This room is capable of seating up to 750 people, depending on the arrangement. Restrooms are conveniently located twenty feet down the concourse. The hall also boasts an independent audio-visual system, complete with ceiling mounted LCD projector and wireless presentation mouse, theatre size retractable screen, wireless microphone system, DVD/VCR unit plus a CD and a tape player. Electrical outlets and microphone jacks are on every wall and with an acoustical tile floor and a bright and casual atmosphere, the room offers flexibility for many types of events. The Grand Hall has an adjoining preparation kitchen with microwave, ice machine, freezer, and refrigeration, which lends itself easily to catered affairs. Dimming lights help set the mood, adjustable limited stage lighting highlighting presenters and a loading dock with a 5’ 10” wide x 8’ 6” tall doorway complete the package.
We provide a full inventory of staging, tables, linens and chairs for the Grand Hall as well as any other area of the civic center, along with podium, slide and overhead projectors, marker boards, and other equipment necessary for your event, such as flip charts and easels.
With sufficient electrical connections and space for 50 10'x 10' booths, this 80’ x 106’ room has been the site of numerous career fairs, trade shows and convention exhibits.
This 80’ x 106’ room has hosted seminars & classes, annual meetings & training sessions and receptions & parties. So whether you are hosting a theatre-style general session for 750, a classroom-style educational seminar or meeting for 450, planning a banquet for 420, or a wedding reception for 330, the Grand Hall is the perfect fit for you.
Bookings of the Grand Hall are only available in full-day periods from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Monday – Thursday and until midnight on Friday and Saturdays. The East & West Conference rooms also accompany Friday and Saturday bookings. Additional time can be purchased at $50 per half-hour as early as 6:00 a.m. A Grand Hall booking includes a personalized setup of tables & chairs and the following amenities:
