Overview >> Public Involvement
Public input is key to making the Plan truly comprehensive. The public involvement process has been developed with three goals in mind:
- Education: Staff will provide information to the public, appointed officials, and elected officials about the project’s planning concepts, a profile of the community today, and a possible vision for the City’s future.
- Input: Staff will collect comments on issues, concerns, and values important to the public and elected officials.
- Evaluation: Staff will evaluate feedback on the draft plan to ensure it reflects the values and goals of the overall community.
