Emergency Plans

Having a family emergency plan will ensure that all family members know how to respond during a disaster or emergency even if they are not together.   

• Create an out-of-town contact and make sure that everyone knows the phone number and has money to call for updates
• Create a set meeting spot away from the home where the family can meet in case of an emergency
• Become aware of school and work emergency plans and how they may affect your ability to communicate with your family
