- Neighborhood Service's Guide to Waste Disposal and Garbage Collection Ordinances and Brush and Bulky Item Collection Guidelines.
Check out Neighborhood Service's Homeowner Association webpage that gives you tips on how to maintain the beauty and safety of your neighborhood while protecting the environment.
- Information published in the Richardson Today about the Environmental Advisory Commission. The commission will advise the City Council on strategies for improving and maintaining the natural environment of Richardson.
- Trash Bash is a great volunteering opportunity for groups of all kinds to help out.
- The regional Live Green Expo is an excellent opportunity for Richardson residents to join fellow North Texans and learn about various environmental initiatives and services.
- National Public Works Week is the third week of May every year. This last year Public Services invited 1st and 2nd grade students to city hall to learn about the importance of recycling. The students participated in interactive games and met Richie the Recycling Duck.
