Becoming A Volunteer
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Richardson Public Library. Volunteering at RPL is a fun and unique way to give back to your community, meet new people, and learn more about the Library. Our volunteers make a difference by enhancing the programs and assisting the departments so that we may offer a pleasing experience to all of our patrons.
Currently, our Summer Teen Volunteer Program is full. Once school begins in August, teen volunteer opportunities will be available. Some volunteer opportunities are available by joining the Teen Advisory Board. Please contact the Teen Librarian for more information at 972.744.4358.
Here is how you can get started:
- Complete the Volunteer Application
- Drop off your application at the Library, or email it to vrena.patrick@cor.gov
- We will then begin to process your paperwork.
- After processing, we will contact you for an interview
If you have any questions about the process, please feel free to contact me at vrena.patrick@cor.gov, or call 972.744.4350. On behalf of the entire staff here at Richardson Public Library, we welcome you and look forward to working with you.
