The Friends of the Library support the Richardson Public Library with time and funds for: Kids, Children's Summer Reading Program, Richardson's Wildflower & Music Festival, the annual book sale, the Library booth at Richardson's Santa's Village, Staff/Volunteer appreciation luncheon, gifts to the library.

The Dorothy "Dot" McCalpin Distinguished Friends of the Library Scholarship has been created to support students who volunteer at the library.  Click here for more information.
                                      
Annual membership fee for the Friends organization is $10 for individuals, $25 for families, and $50 for business or civic organizations.
