American Association of Code Enforcement’s (AACE)
2009 Outstanding Achievement in Marketing of the Code Enforcement Profession
I am proud to announce that Neighborhood Services was awarded the American Association of Code Enforcement’s (AACE) 2009 Outstanding Achievement in Marketing of the Code Enforcement Profession Award for its marketing of the City's Neighborhood Vitality & Integrity Strategy. The award, which recognizes the most innovative and unique strategies for raising awareness about code enforcement in the United States, was judged at AACE’s 2009 Annual Conference in Addison, Texas.
Our entire staff very much appreciates this recognition. Education and two way communication with residents are key elements in our approach to code enforcement. As we move forward our goal will be to continue to create new opportunities on both fronts.
AACE is code enforcement’s premier national professional association, with more than 400 member cities and 1,200 individual members from 40 different states. It only recognizes one city each year for its marketing of the code enforcement profession.
Neighborhood Services has a variety of programs designed improve awareness of codes and ordinances as well as communication with residents about code enforcement activity. Please explore our web site and learn more about our multifaceted approach to promoting and protecting residential neighborhoods.
