Neighborhood enhancement strategies are proactive measures to encourage residents to improve their home and neighborhood beyond minimum standards.  Enhancement strategies are fashioned to address the specific challenges faced by each individual neighborhood. 

Successful neighborhood enhancement strategies start with understanding a neighborhood’s assets and weaknesses.  It grows out of a clear understanding of what’s going on in the neighborhood and results in strategies that reinforce what’s working and seek to improve what’s not working.
