 972-907-TIPS is a 24 hour anonymous Hot Line which allows citizens to provide the Richardson Police Department with information regarding illegal drug activity and other crimes. When you call 972-907-TIPS you will hear a recorded message. Explain the activity you are reporting in as much detail as possible (e.g. exact address, make/model of vehicles and license plates if possible, age, sex, race etc of persons involved in the activity). You do not have to provide your name or contact information.
What happens to the information I provide?
Information is cross referenced and followed up by officers to determine what investigatory and or enforcement steps may be taken next. Even information you believe to be insignificant may be the missing piece of a larger puzzle officers are working.
