Recycle Program
Richardson recyclables are collected by the City and taken to a local Materials Recovery Facility for processing.  Each household is provided with recycling collection service one day each week.  This collection will occur on one of the same days designated for regular trash collection.  See map below to find your recycle collection day.

Map showing recycling pickup days

Recycling collection points for each home are the same as the regular trash collection points, which is usually in the alley.  To ensure proper collection, place recyclables out by 7:00 a.m.  On rainy days, please do not set out cardboard or newspaper (that is not in a blue bag).
