Teams forfeiting a winners bracket match will be placed in the losers bracket.
If a team concedes, or has started and ceases to play during an event, all prior wins or losses will still stand and any points earned will still be awarded.
If a team finishes all scheduled games with no forfeits they will earn 30 participation points.
The City of Richardson is the governing body for the event:
NOTE: All thrown balls will remain LIVE until they hit the ground or a wall.
For example if a ball is thrown and does not touch the ground before being touched by 3 players. All 3 players would be declared out if the ball subsequently hits the ground. The same goes for a situation in which a ball is thrown contacts 2-3 different people and then is caught by one of them. The person who threw the ball would be declared out. On the initial contact, if a person is hit above the shoulders, the player who threw the ball, PLUS ONE MORE PLAYER (to be determined by that team's captain) will be deemed out. If a player is hit above the shoulders off of a deflection, the person who threw the ball is not out.
