No substitutions are allowed after a team's first match has begun.

Corporate
Challenge
Will Provide :

Cornhole boards and bags.

Scoring:
  • Games are a race to 15 or 21 (you do not have to win by 2).
  • In women's and mixed competition all non-medal games will be played to 15. Medal games will be played to 21.
  • In men's competition all games are played to 21.
  • Woody: Refers to any cornhole bag that has been pitched and remains on the cornhole board playing surface at the conclusion of the frame. Each woody is 1pt.
  • Cornhole - Refers to any cornhole bag that has been pitched and passes through the cornhole board hole at anytime within the frame. Each cornhole is 3pts.
  • Cancellation Scoring: The approved method of scoring for the sport of cornhole is "cancellation" scoring. In cancellation scoring, the points of one player cancel out the points of their opponent. Using this method, only one player/team can score in each frame.
  • Example: Red achieves one (1) woody and two (2) cornholes. Blue achieves two (2) woodies and zero (0) cornholes. 7 points - 2 points = Red scores 5 points for that frame.
  • Foul Bags - Refers to any cornhole bag that has not been determined as a "woody" or "cornhole", or was designated a foul bag as the result of rules violation.
  • Designated Foul Bags - Refers to any cornhole bag that has not been determined as a "woody" or "cornhole", or was designated a foul bag as the result of rules violation. Bags contacting the ground before reaching the playing surface and bags pitched when a player has crossed the foul line are Foul Bags. If a foul bag lands on the playing surface or comes to rest touching the ground and the board, it must be removed immediately.
  • Winners report results of match and score immediately upon completion of play.

Timing:

The first two rounds will be limited to 50 minutes each. In the event of a tie, a sudden death elimination will occur.

Forfeit:

In the winners bracket play if a team is late the coordinator will move to the next game with no penalty. If it is the last game of a round the missing team will be placed in the losers bracket. If a team concedes a match or has started and ceases to play during an event, all prior wins or losses will still stand and any points earned will still be awarded.

Ceasing to play in an event in this manner must be announced to the event coordinator.

*NOTE: Men's, Women's & Mixed will play on the same night for each division.

If you have a male or female playing on both the Mixed and Men's/Women's team you run the risk of a forfeit.

Participation
Points:

A complete team will earn 30 participation points.

Complete teams consist of six different people; men's, women's and mixed pairs.

Incomplete teams will earn one point for each participant.

Uniforms:

There is no uniform requirement, but it is recommended that each company wear their Corporate Challenge shirts.

Governing Body:

The American Cornhole Organization rules (Official Rules) will govern play except as noted:

  • Women's and Mixed competition games will go to 15, except in Medal Rounds.
