Governing
Body :

The rules of the American Darts Organization will govern play except as noted:

The event is not sanctioned by the ADO.

Game start order is determined by a Diddle. One player from each team will represent their team in the Diddle. A coin flip will determine shooting order preference for the Diddle.
(Coin flip winner may shoot first OR may defer shot to opponent). Diddle winner goes first in the first game. The losing team from the first game gets to shoot first in the second game. If needed the third game shooting a Bulls Choice will determine order.

Women's Darts: Each match will be best 2 out of 3 games in the winners bracket. The loser’s bracket will be a Bulls Choice game. The games for the Women's winners bracket play will be:

  • GAME 1 301 SSDO (Straight Start, double-out)
  • GAME 2 Cricket
  • GAME 3 Bull's Choice (If needed)

Mixed Darts: Each match will be best 2 out of 3 games in the winners bracket. The loser’s bracket will be a Bulls Choice game. The games for the Mixed winners bracket play will be:

  • GAME 1 501 SSDO (Straight Start, double-out)
  • GAME 2 Cricket
  • GAME 3 Bull's Choice (If needed)

Men's Darts: Each match will be best 2 out of 3 games in the winners bracket. Losers bracket will be a Bulls Choice game. The games for the Men's winners bracket play will be:

  • GAME 1 501 DIDO (Double-in, double-out)
  • GAME 2 Cricket
  • GAME 3 Bull's Choice (If needed)

Special Rules: In the event both teams are throwing for double-1 ("doo da") in 301 SSDO, the "No Bust" rule will apply. After the second team has reached double-1,
each team will throw three more turns as usual. After that, each player will throw all three darts, ignoring any "bust" scores.

Diddle: For the "Diddle" Each team representative will throw one dart with the intention of having their dart land on or closest to the bullseye. The most accurate throw with respect to the bullseye is the winner. A double bullseye beats a single bullseye or anything outside the bull. A single Bullseye beats anything outside the bullseye but loses to a double bullseye. If both darts are outside the bullseye, the winner will be judged as the dart closest to the Bullseye. If both darts are in the double Bullseye it is a tie. If both darts are in the single bullseye it is a tie. If both darts are measured as the same distance to the bullseye it is a tie. For ties both representatives will re-throw in REVERSE order of original "Diddle" (The first shooter will now shoot second, and the second shooter will now shoot first). Continue until a winner is determined.

Bulls Choice: The "Bulls Choice" is a method of qualifying a team for the privilege to decide which game to play in the third game of a best 2 out of 3 match in the winners bracket or the single elimination game in the losers bracket. The two competing teams will Diddle. The winner of the Diddle will decide which game will be played. Choices are as follows:

Women's

  • Cricket
  • 301 SSDO

Mixed

  • Cricket
  • 501 SSDO

Men's

  • Cricket
  • 501 DIDO
