Game Days:

Play begins: 6:30 p.m. each night. All teams should arrive at this time to receive hole assignments.

 

Warm up starts: 5:30 p.m.
*NOTE: Men's, Women's & Mixed will play on the same night for each division. 
If you have a male or female playing on both the Mixed and Men's/Women's team you run the risk of a forfeit.

Check-In
Procedure :

Athletes should check in each day at the registration desk at least 30 minutes prior to their scheduled competition.


Appropriate identification must be presented at the time of registration.

Substitution Information:

Substitutions (male for male and female for female) will be allowed prior to the START of the event for players who cannot play for one reason or another. No substitutions are allowed after a team’s first match has begun. Failure to continue play, whether due to injury, prior commitment, poor performance, or any other reason will result in a forfeit of the match with no penalty.

   
Corporate Challenge Will Provide: All equipmen through Adventure Landing, however players may being their own putter and ball.
   
Scoring:

Play will be thirty-six (36) holes of Scotch Doubles.

   
Forfeit:

Men's, Women's & Mixed will play on the same night for each division.
If you have a male or female playing on both the Mixed and Men's/Women's team you run the risk of a forfeit.

   
Participation
Points :

A complete team will earn 30 participation points.
Complete teams consist of six different people; men's, women's and mixed pairs.
Incomplete teams will earn one point for each participant.

   
Uniforms:

There is no uniform requirement, but it is recommended that each company wear their Corporate Challenge shirts.

   
Governing
Body :

The PPA rules will govern play except as noted: 

  • Only one ball on the carpet at a time. One team must successfully putt the ball into the cup before the next team begins. 
  • Scotch Doubles: Players will alternate shots until the ball is sunk. The person putting the ball into the cup will putt second on the next hole. 
  • Honor system: The team listed first on the score sheet will putt first on the first hole. The team with the lowest score will putt first on the next hole.
  • Five stroke limit: If a team does not make the ball into the cup in five strokes, the team will receive a "five" on the hole. 
  • Incomplete teams will be charged a maximum stroke limit of 5 per hole until both members arrive.
  • Ball hit in a hazard: Ball may be removed by hand and placed one club head length away from sand or water, on turf no closer to the hole with a one (1) stroke penalty. 
  • If a ball is putted into the out of bounds (off the course), the ball may be replaced by hand one club head length away from exit point no closer to the hole with a one (1) stroke penalty. 
  • Ball comes to rest against a rail or obstacle if this happens, the ball can be placed one putter's head length from the rail or obstacle. The ball cannot be placed closer to the hole.
  • Grounds for Disqualification: All scorecards must match. Each team will keep score for BOTH teams in the group. The scores must match when turned in to the event coordinator.
    If the scores do not match, both teams will be disqualified. Any person arguing with the event coordinator will be given one (1) warning.
    Any additional altercations will result in disqualification of that team from the tournament. 
  • All decisions of the event coordinator are final!
