I'd like to introduce myself for those of you who do not already know me. My name is Melanie Sprott and I'm the new Corporate Recreation Manager for the City of Richardson. I'm so very excited to take on this role and to lead the Corporate Challenge event! I've been a staff member for the Richardson Parks & Recreation Department for 7 years in the Parks Administration office. I have been on maternity leave for the past 12 weeks spending time with my new baby girl and finally returned last week to begin this new adventure! I'm so thrilled for this opportunity and can't wait to get to know you all better!

And coming up:
Off-Season Corporate Challenge!! Look for details on leagues, tournaments and a few social outings! And don't forget, the competition doesn't always have to take place during a Corporate Challenge event! An exciting addition to our Corporate Recreation program this year will be the addition of an entry category for the Richardson Christmas Parade! It'll be such a fun way to celebrate the holidays with your Corporate Challenge team competing against each other for the BEST Christmas Parade float! Check it out and get your entry forms and entry fee of new, unwrapped toys to our Community Events Office by November 27th! We can't wait to see what each of your teams bring to this annual City event! Download your entry form here: www.cor.net/christmasparade. The 42nd Annual Richardson Christmas Parade benefits The Network of Community Ministries with all of the entry fees and toys collected.
