This tailgating party will kick off ten weeks of friendly competition!
With food & drinks, the presentation of colors & the national anthem, the Lighting of the Torch & Special Olympian Events there will be plenty to do. Add in the Great Walk, the Executive Relay, and a few other activities and you have the some of the ingredients for earning your company's Spirit Stick and a chance to win the coveted TAILGATE AWARD!

Looking to win the Tailgate Award?
We have judges who will be walking around scoping out the spirit and all that goes with it!
What are they looking for? Well Can they identify who you are? Does your company have THE LOOK?... and lastly... Can they hear you? - Be sure to turn up the spirit volume all night long!
Each Each company will need to enter the site via Performance Drive. You will be permitted to drive up to your space and unload your items, however you will need to move your vehicle(s) once you are done. This will allow everyone a chance to pull up to their space. NO VEHICLES WILL BE PERMITTED TO PARK BEHIND THE SPACES. There simply isn't the room to do so. Please let me know if you have a caterer who will need on-site parking. Reminder: The staging area is for commercial catering vehicles only. That area will be marked on the map as well. Staff will be on-site to point your caterers to the area most convenient to your space. ALL OTHER VEHICLES WILL NEED TO BE PARKED IN THE DESIGNATED PARKING GARAGE. NO EXCEPTIONS. You will not be able to drive into the area after 3:30p. Please plan accordingly.

All tents will be set-up and ready for move-in on Friday. Every company will be provided a 10'x10' tent in a 10'x20' space. If you made a special request, you received it, unless you were notified by staff individually.
For those of you who ordered through us, your items will be on-site Friday! Please be sure to stack them the way you find them at the close of the evening to avoid additional charges. If you have not yet submitted payment, please do so as soon as possible!
There is electricity available on the Plaza. For those of you who requested a power source (and were able to get it) - we will be on-site to point you in the right direction. Please bring an extension cord (25' orange one should be sufficient). If you did not request electricity, I'm sorry.....we will not be able to accommodate once on-site.
No coals, please! Gas (propane) grills or catering only. Cleaning up the Plaza area is a bit more extensive than being out at a park.
Please no glass containers! The Plaza area is for the most part concrete. For safety reasons, please bring canned drinks or plastic bottles only.
THE GREAT WALK:
The 1-mile route will take you through the Galatyn Woodland Preserve! Please encourage everyone to walk as participation points will be counted! Be sure to stop at the "start tent" to pick up a token for each walker. You will drop your token off at the mid-way point. Companies will compete against their own division and be ranked based on total participants. Note: You must be at the mid-point by 7:00 pm to receive participation points for your company.
Pets are NOT allowed at this event. Once the Plaza is filled with people and festivities, there isn’t room for much else. Thank you for your cooperation.
