photo of Scott Dunn at City HallScott Dunn was re-elected to the City Council in May 2013. Dunn has served on the Council since 2011. Prior to being elected, Dunn held offices in the Duck Creek Homeowners Association, the St. Paul School Board, the Waterview Preservation Association and the St. Paul the Apostle Men’s Club. Dunn attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and majored in computer science. He finished his degree at nearby Amber (now Amberton) University. He is the IT services director at Affiliated Computer Services, Inc., where he has worked since 1999. Dunn has volunteered with the YMCA Guides and Princesses and served as a Boy Scout Troop Leader. Additionally, he taught 7th grade Faith Formation at St. Paul and volunteered as a baseball and basketball coach through the Richardson Sports Association and the YMCA. He has been actively involved at Arapaho Elementary and Richardson High School, where he served as the Bald Eagle Leader on the RHS Eaglette Booster Club board. Dunn and his wife founded the RHS Eagle Flight Garden Tour in 2009 and earned Golden Eagle Volunteer Awards from the RHS PTA. Dunn is a 2010 graduate of the Richardson Citizen Police Academy and is an active member of Richardson Police Department’s Volunteer Crime Watch Patrol in the Arapaho/Waterview area. He supports the Richardson Symphony League Debutante/Honor Guard program and continues to serve as course chairman on the RHS 5K Committee, which raises funds for the RISD Excellence in Education Foundation. Dunn and his wife, Lisa, have three children.
