The Arts Commission acts as an advisory board recommending funds to support and promote cultural/arts organizations. After the requests are reviewed by the Commission, recommendations are sent to the City Council for final consideration. Funding is through the hotel/motel tax fund. Consists of 7 members and meets the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Contact City Manager's Office at 972-744-4209.
