Community Service

Community Service is Court Ordered and the Shelter only allows certain offenses, please contact the shelter for more information at 972-744-4480.

You must attend an orientation class before any service hours can be given.  Call to set up an orientation. All paperwork must be completed before you may begin working.

Hours available to work:

• Sunday: 7AM-11AM
• Monday: 6AM-10AM
• Tuesday: 6AM-10AM
• Wednesday: 6AM-10AM
• Thursday: 6AM-10AM
• Friday: 6AM-10AM
• Saturday: 6AM-10AM

 Activities:

• Cleaning Dog Runs
• Cleaning Cat Cages
• Cleaning Exotic Cages
• Laundry
• Washing Food/Water Bowls
• Washing Litterboxes
• Sanitizing Carriers
• Sweeping/Mopping
• Bathing animals
• And other related duties
