1. Galatyn Parkway West Extension
- Project Description: This project involves the construction of three lanes connecting the Galatyn Bridge over US 75 west to Palisades Boulevard.
- Traffic Impacts: During construction different traffic lanes will need to be temporary closed to traffic as work progresses, but access to the existing ramps and bridge will be available at all times.
- Estimated Completion: Late April
2. 900 Block of Bowser Road south of Alpha Drive
- Project Description: Replacement of gas line
- Traffic Impacts: The outside northbound lane of Bowser Road south of Alpha Drive could be temporarily closed to traffic from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Estimated Completion: Late May
3. Heights Recreation and Aquatics Center/Gymnastics Center
- Project Description: Reconstruction of the Heights Recreation Center and Swimming Pool and construction of new Gymnastics Center.
- Traffic Impacts: Various lanes along Arapaho Road from West Shore Drive to Floyd Road and east of Grove Road as well as the northbound & southbound inside lanes on Grove Road south of Arapaho Road could be temporarily closed to traffic from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM or as needed as work progresses.
- Estimated Completion: The Gymnastics Center has been completed. The estimated completion date for the Heights Recreation Center is May 28 and for the Aquatics Center is July.
4. 1601 E. Lookout Drive west of Owens Boulevard
- Project Description: Placement of aerial and underground phone cable
- Traffic Impacts: The outside eastbound lane of Lookout Drive west of Owens Boulevard could be temporarily closed from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Estimated Completion: Late May
5. Plano Road at Creekside Drive
- Project Description: Cable installation
- Traffic Impacts: The outside northbound lane of Plano Road south of Creekside Drive and the outside westbound lane of Creekside Drive east of Plano Road could be temporarily closed from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
- Estimated Completion: Late May
6. Melrose Drive from Coit Road to West Shore Drive and Meadow View Court
- Project Description: Street rehabilitation.
- Traffic Impacts: Most of this project is completed. The contractor will need to repave and mark some sections between Mohawk Trail and West Shore Drive that did not pass inspection and then the project will be completed.
- Estimated Completion: Mid April
7. The Park On Weatherred Park (Durham Park)
- Project Description: Demolition of four existing houses and construction of park on Weatherred Drive between Downing Drive and Scottsdale Drive.
- Traffic Impacts: At times traffic lanes on streets surrounding this work zone could be temporarily closed to traffic from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
- Estimated Completion: This project should be completed by mid May.
8. Cypress Drive from Mimosa Drive to Glen Cove Drive
- Project Description: Pavement reconstruction
- Traffic Impacts: Half of this block of Cypress Drive is closed to traffic for pavement repairs and traffic is only allowed in a one-way direction.
- Estimated Completion: Early June
9. 2010 Sidewalk Repair Program Phase IV (Regions 7 & 8)
- Project Description: Removal and replacement of existing residential sidewalk and driveway approach pavement. It also includes construction of barrier free ramps and other minor miscellaneous work. Region 7 is the area bound by Belt Line-Waterview-Arapaho-Floyd. Region 8 is bound by Custer-Campbell-US75-Arapaho.
- Traffic Impacts: Portions on residential streets may be temporarily closed to traffic while repairs take place on those streets, but at no time will the road will be totally closed to traffic.
- Estimated Completion: Early June
10. Floyd Branch Storm Drain Improvements and Phillips Bridge Replacement Project
- Project Description: This project will replace the Phillips Drive culverts with a bridge and more than double the underground drainage system capacity from Kaufman Street across Main Street up to Greer Street. It also includes the construction of a right turn lane for westbound traffic on Main Street from Interurban Street to the northbound frontage road of US 75.
- Traffic Impacts: This project consists of several phases in which different streets could be temporarily closed to traffic at different times such as Kaufman Street east of Sherman Street, Sherman Street north of Kaufman Street and south of Main Street, Polk Street at Sherman Street, and different lanes of Main Street east of the northbound frontage road of US 75.
- Estimated Completion: April 2014
11. 2010 Street Phase VII Pavement Rehabilitation Project – N. Bowser Road from Belt Line Road to north of Apollo Road and S. Grove Road from Belt Line Road to Highland Boulevard
- Project Description: This project includes the removal and replacement of southbound Grove Rd including minor storm sewer improvements and the northbound lanes will be repaired with full depth concrete patches. On Bowser Road the existing asphalt overlay was removed, all failed concrete pavement was repaired, and a new asphalt overlay installed. Both streets also include sidewalk repair and barrier free ramps.
- Traffic Impacts: Within the work zone in each street, only one lane in each direction will be allowed.
- Estimated Completion: Late May
12. Murphy Road south of McKinley Lane
- Project Description: Retaining wall reconstruction
- Traffic Impacts: The outside southbound lane of Murphy Road at McKinley Lane could be temporarily closed between 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM.
- Estimated Completion: Late April
13. Glenville Drive at Apollo Road and at Arapaho Road
- Project Description: Cable installation work
- Traffic Impacts: The outside lanes for westbound Apollo Road east of Glenville Dr and for southbound Glenville Drive north of Apollo Road as well as for southbound Glenville Drive north of Arapaho Road could be temporarily closed to traffic between 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM.
- Estimated Completion: Late May
14. Arapaho Road west of Glenville Drive
- Project Description: Cable installation work
- Traffic Impacts: The outside eastbound lane of Arapaho Road west of Glenville Drive could be temporarily closed to traffic between 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM.
- Estimated Completion: Late June
15. Campbell Road at Waterview Drive
- Project Description: Traffic signal system upgrade
- Traffic Impacts: Various lanes will be closed as needed around the intersection between 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM as work progresses.
- Estimated Completion: Early May
16. Holford Road south of Chainhurst Drive and Chainhurst Drive at Blackfield Drive
- Project Description: Water line connection to new development
- Traffic Impacts: Up to half of Holford Road could be temporarily closed to traffic between 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM, but two-way traffic will still be allowed in the other half with flagger assistance. Chainhurst Drive will be temporarily closed at Blackfield Drive and traffic will be detoured to Marlow Lane while the closure is in effect.

17. West Shore Drive north of Creekdale Drive
- Project Description: Replacement of power pole
- Traffic Impacts: The outside northbound lane of West Shore Drive north of Creekdale Drive could be temporarily closed between 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM.
- Estimated Completion: Early June
18. Shiloh Road at Renner Road
- Project Description: Construction of deceleration lane and driveway access
- Traffic Impacts: The outside southbound lane of Shiloh Road south of Renner Road could be temporarily closed between 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM as work progresses.
- Estimated Completion: Mid July
19. Greenville Avenue north of Apollo Road
- Project Description: Power pole replacement
- Traffic Impacts: The outside southbound lane of Greenville Avenue north of Apollo Road could be temporarily closed between 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM as work progresses.
- Estimated Completion: Early June
20. Plano Road at Renner Road
- Project Description: Installation of five power poles
- Traffic Impacts: The outside northbound and southbound lanes of Plano Road north and south of Renner Road could be temporarily closed between 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM.
- Estimated Completion: Late May
21. US 75 at Main Street
- Project Description: Installation of underground conduit for traffic signal
- Traffic Impacts: Various lanes could be temporarily closed between 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM as needed.
- Estimated Completion: Early June
22. Municipal Drive from Sandhill Drive to east of Collins Boulevard
- Project Description: Cable installation
- Traffic Impacts: The outside eastbound lane of this section of Municipal Drive could be temporarily closed between 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM.
- Estimated Completion: Late May
23. Dumont Drive east of Shadywood Lane
- Project Description: Relocation of two power poles
- Traffic Impacts: The outside westbound lane of Dumont Drive could be temporarily closed between 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM.
- Estimated Completion: Mid-June
24. Arapaho Road west of Jupiter Road
- Project Description: Cable installation
- Traffic Impacts: The outside westbound lane of Arapaho Road west of Jupiter Road could be temporarily closed between 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM.
- Estimated Completion: Late May
25. 400 S. Greenville Avenue at Phillips Street
- Project Description: Installation of new power pole
- Traffic Impacts: Up to one half of Phillips Street east of Greenville Avenue could be temporarily closed in the westbound direction between 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM as work progresses. Two-way traffic will still be allowed while this work is ongoing.
- Estimated Completion: Mid-June
26. Dublin Drive east of Waterfall Way
- Project Description: New bridge railing, stone facia, sidewalk replacement and other miscellaneous work on bridge on Dublin Drive at Cottonwood Creek.
- Traffic Impacts: Up to one half of the road’s width could be temporarily closed to traffic as needed, but two-way traffic will still be allowed.
- Estimated Completion: Late June
