The National Drug Take Back initiative provides residents with a place to dispose of expired, or no longer needed drugs (injectables are NOT accepted).  A drop-off location will be designated in the Civic Center parking lot.

Children's Immunization Clinic. Free immunizations for children 18 years of age or younger who live in the City of Richardson or RISD and who do not have private health insurance.  We don't offer the seasonal flu vaccine.  An appointment is required.

Misfortune Teller


Food Handler Certification is required for all employees of food establishments within the City of Richardson. Options available for obtaining a Food Handler Card include 1) Online video & payment; 2) Attend one of the monthly classes; and 3) An employer presentation on site at the establishment.

The monthly food handler class is held the 1st Wednesday of each month from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Richardson Civic Center in both English & Spanish. Registration is NOT required.
