 Parks and Trails Headline

Lookout Park is currently undergoing construction. The specific elements of the project are:

Lookout Park Playground Renovation: All new equipment is coming and should be ready by the end of March with separate play structures for children ages 2-5 and 5-12.

Lookout Park Trail Extension: New sections of the hike and bike trail will be complete by May.

Lookout Park Irrigation Improvements: The entire irrigation system in the park is being overhauled and replaced, which should be completed by June.

Winter 2016

***1/26/16 - Because of unseasonably warm weather, restrooms (not water fountains) are currently reopened until freezing temperatures return***

Parks staff has completed the winterization of restrooms and drinking fountains. This is done to keep pipes from freezing and bursting. Restrooms and drinking fountains will remain closed until spring time. The only exception will be the restroom at Bush Central Barkway as the pipes in this park are designed to handle freezing temperatures. When visiting Bush Central Barkway the fountains will be shut off, but water can be accessed from the sinks in the restrooms.
