Prepare for a holiday treat! Come join the Yuletide enchantment when TUZERBALLET presents its 29th annual production of the classic holiday ballet, Peter Tchaikovsky’s, The Nutcracker. Whether you are experiencing it as a family tradition or discovering the magic for the first time, the memory of this beloved classic will stay with you forever.

You will be transported to a wondrous world of swirling snowflakes, mysterious gifts, leaping Cossacks, and a legion of mice – and taken on a magical journey by the Sugar Plum Fairy. As you plan your holiday social calendar, this hugely popular performance is a mustsee for the whole family!

PERFORMANCE DATES: Performances will take place at the Charles W. Eisemann Center for Performing Arts, 2351 Performance Drive, Richardson, Texas on Saturday, December 21st at 2:00 pm & 7:00 pm and Sunday, December 22nd at 2:00 pm. Ticket prices range from $15 to $50 and are available online at www.eisemanncenter.com.

ARTISTIC DIRECTORS: Tanju and Patricia Tuzer, formerly of Harkness and Hamburg Ballet, have created a lavish, acclaimed production with their talented Pre-Professional Student Company from the Tuzer Dance School. Their inventive blend of traditional and modern choreography, complemented by spectacular sets and costumes, will delight you.

GUEST PRINCIPAL DANCERS: This year, we are excited to announce that all three performances will feature two guest principal dancers. Rie Ichikawa, a soloist with the Boston Ballet, as the Sugar Plum Fairy, and as Cavalier, a Tuzer Ballet 1997 alumnus who trained with Tanju and Patricia Tuzer from the age of nine, Zack Grubbs, a soloist with the Cincinnati Ballet.

REVIEWS: Praised for its purity and spirit, TUZER BALLET’S Nutcracker, listed as a “Top Ten Dance Event of the Year” by the Dallas Morning News, is the longest running Nutcracker in the Metroplex.
