Susannah CharlesonAuthor Susannah Charleson tells the compelling stories of her search-and-rescue and therapy dogs in “Scent of the Missing” and the recently released “The Possibility Dogs.” Meet her and the dogs behind the stories at the Friends of the Richardson Library's 2014 InPerson Author Lecture.

The event will take place Thursday, Jan. 23, at the Richardson Civic Center Grand Hall. Reception begins at 6 p.m., and doors to the 7 p.m. lecture open at 6:45 p.m.

The event is supported by the Richardson Woman's Club and in part by a grant from the City of Richardson Arts Commission.
