DART Rail Service to Increase Saturday for Dallas St. Patrick’s Parade
Posted Date: 3/13/2013 1:30 PM

Richardson residents can use DART to travel to the Dallas St. Patrick’s Day Parade. There will be increased light rail service Saturday for the event, including at the four light rail stations in Richardson.

The parade will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday on Greenville Avenue, from Northwest Highway to SMU Boulevard. Buses will not serve the Lovers Lane Station due to the parade. Visit for information on rail schedules.

Also this weekend, DART will display one of its new compressed natural gas (CNG) buses and give away prizes at the DFW Auto Show at the Dallas Convention Center. The buses are expected to reduce harmful emissions and lower DART’s fuel cost by nearly two-thirds by the end of 2015 as they are deployed to replace older models.
