City facilities close for holiday
The Richardson City Hall/Civic Center complex, the Library, Municipal Court and Animal Shelter will be closed Monday, May 28, in observance of Memorial Day. All offices will reopen at 8 a.m., Tuesday, May 29. Heights and Huffhines Recreation Centers and the Senior Center will be open normal hours on Monday. Huffhines Tennis Center will be open but will close at 7 p.m. Call the Police Department at 972-744-4800 for emergencies when the Animal Shelter is closed.

Holiday sanitation schedule Recycle collection make-up days
Due to the Memorial Day holiday, there will be NO solid waste pick up or special pick up Monday, May 28. There will be MAKE-UP days for recycling pick up. If your normal recycle day is Monday, items will be picked up Tuesday, May 29. If your normal recycle day is Tuesday, items will be picked up Wednesday, May 30.
