’12 Angry Men’ debuts at the Richardson Theatre Centre

Post Date:03/21/2019 3:15 PM

For the next three weeks the courtroom drama ’12 Angry Men’ takes center stage at the Richardson Theatre Centre.

The play focuses on the deliberation of the jury of a homicide trial where a dozen men decide the fate of a teenage boy.  At first, they have a nearly unanimous decision, but that quickly changes.

“This will be our 30th year in business. We are your community theater in Richardson and I think this show is a show that is an important show. I think it speaks to the times that we’re in,” said director, Rachel Lindley.

About sixty actors auditioned for the production.  ’12 Angry Men,’ is just one of seven shows set to take stage this year at the theater, which is one of dozens supported by a cultural arts grant provided by the City to promote cultural and artistic events in the community.

“12 Angry Men,” starts Friday, March 22 at the Richardson Theatre Centre at 518 W. Arapaho Road Suite 113.  Please call 972-699-1130 or visit https://www.artsinrichardson.com/event/richardson-theate-centre-presents-twelve-angry-men/ for tickets and more on the theater’s 2019 season as well as information on other cultural art groups and their events.
