Epic Marble Run

Create a marble run with ramps, jumps and more. You can work with alone or with a team. Recycled materials and LEGOs will be provided.

Around the World!

Join the Senior Center for a fun series of monthly presentations as they learn about various parts of the world. This month, they will go on “Alaska Adventures.” This will be a three-part series.

Art Exhibit: “Laurel Canyon” 

An exhibition of the bright, colorful artwork of Dallas-based painter Michelle Noah, who uses a layering technique that creates texture, movement and energy.

Time: Monday-Friday, noon-5 p.m. and open during all public events.
Location: Green Mezzanine Gallery at the Eisemann Center.
Admission: Free.

Parks Department Hosts Seasonal Job Fair March 17

Parks and Recreation Job Fair 

The City’s Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a job fair to provide information and applications for a variety of positions. Positions include lifeguards, swim instructors, day camp counselors and directors, recreation support technicians and gymnastics instructors.  

Time: 4-7 p.m.
Location: Heights Recreation Center, 711 W. Arapaho Rd.  
Admission: Free and open to the public.

Class Series: Bath Salt & Salt Scrub Workshop

In this class you can create your own signature bath salts and salt scrubs. You will also learn about the benefits of using salts and essential oils to help de-stress.

Class Act Tap Company presents a special St. Patrick’s Day performance. Class Act, founded in 1986, is a local volunteer organization with almost 40 members, ranging in age from 50-80.

Gymnastics Center Friday Night Fun! 

Parents can register their child online, over the phone or in person. Kids ages 4-14 can enjoy an evening of fun at the Richardson Gymnastics Center!

Richardson Symphony Orchestra Community Concert

The Core Theatre

The Greatest Generation Trilogy: My First Date

Three interconnected plays take place on different dates, with all three on stage April 9: "First Date" (play 1), "Forever" (play 2), and "Life’s Little Miracles" (play 3). Set in the early 1940s, the plays follow the Erhard family and daughter Anna’s journey through courtship, marriage and the aftermath of Pearl Harbor.

Tales for Tails

Join the Richardson Public Library for a special storytime with the Heart of Texas Therapy Dogs. Kids in grades K-4 will have a chance to read to real dogs.

RCAS Art Exhibit

RCAS Exhibit at City Hall/Civic Center

The Richardson Civic Art Society has installed a new exhibit on the north wall of the City Hall/Civic Center’s main hallway, featuring 19 paintings created by RCAS board members. The colorful display includes framed and unframed creations of varying sizes, including oils, watercolors, collage and acrylic mediums. The art is available for purchase.
