View this 2021 documentary that explores the questions, “When an artist dies, what happens to their artwork?” This is the story of ones man’s journey to posthumously archive and exhibit his brother’s artistic estate, and a window into the personal motives behind minimalist art. Join Richardson Mayor Paul Voelker and Nobel Peace Prize winner Muhammad Yunus, as they serve as the keynote speakers for the first Global Sustainability Experience presented by the Naveen Jindal School of Management. GSE will consist of webinars and workshops and will end in a final round of student competition and a celebration on Earth Day.

The Richardson Civic Art Society has installed a new exhibit on the north wall of the City Hall/Civic Center’s main hallway, featuring 19 paintings created by RCAS board members. The colorful display includes framed and unframed creations of varying sizes, including oils, watercolors, collage and acrylic mediums.

Darbey’s Storywalk^® 

“Baby Goes to Market,” by Atinuke and illustrated by Angela Brooksbank is the April title now installed in Darbey’s Storywalk^®. The storyline centers on Baby, who rides on Mama’s back through an outdoor market. The colorful book also provides a good early lesson in numbers, counting and addition/subtraction, as the vendors they pass keep giving baby treats without Mama knowing.
