"The Secret Comedy of Women"
This is a cross between “Carol Burnett” and “Saturday Night Live.” Experience this truly brilliant and uplifting female comedy that explores the women’s world with joy, heart and intelligent wit.

Oceans of Possibilities Summer Reading Club
Join the Richardson Public Library's Summer Reading Club. Children will keep track of their reading with an official reading log. Read books and earn prizes and raffle entries to win a grand prize. Every 10 books or 10 reading hours equals one raffle entry.
Time: Through Aug. 7
Location: Richardson Public Library.

On the Road Again – Perot Museum
If you are 50 years old and older you can come check out the Perot Museum, an amazing science and history museum. It will impress you in every way.

Plaza Suite
This production features three one-acts set in the Plaza Hotel. In “Visitor from Mamaroneck,” a middle-aged married couple tries to rekindle their dying spark. In “Visitor from Hollywood,” a film producer invites his childhood sweetheart to a hotel. In “Visitor from Forest Hill,” a bride has locked herself in the bathroom.

In beTWEEN Book Club
Kids ages 9-12 can read some of the best books and explore their content via games, scavenger hunts, film excerpts and more. Try something new every month based on book award and nominee lists like the Bluebonnet, Little Mavericks, Sibert and Geisel.

Darbey’s Storywalk®
Enjoy the June edition of Darbey’s Storywalk®. It is all about movement and reading, as it enables visitors to walk along a designated path behind the Library while reading pages of a children’s book posted at 16 different stations. This month's featured book is titled “Jabari Jumps” by Gaia Cornwall. This is a sweet and simple story about a young boy who has recently learned to swim and is both excited and nervous about taking a dive off the high board. It takes courage to try new things, but it’s fun to make a big splash when you’re successful.
Time: Open daily.

Bush Central Barkway
Keeping in mind the recent hot daytime temperatures, Parks and Recreation wants to remind dog owners that Richardson’s dog park, Bush Central Barkway, is open late. It provides an opportunity to get outside with your pup in “cooler” evening temperatures. The award-winning, six-acre park includes separate areas for large, small and sedentary dogs as well as an event paddock for party rental.
Time: 6:30 a.m.-10:30 p.m. (Thursday-Tuesday), 10 a.m.-10:30 p.m. (Wednesday)

Cook the Book: Brunch
Browse selected cookbooks in the Library that feature brunch foods like those described in the parties in the RROB book, “Behold the Dreamers” by Imbolo Mbue. Once you’ve picked a recipe prepare it and bring it to brunch. Participants can taste everyone’s creations and expand their cooking experiences. Come hungry.

Efficient Irrigation Systems – Easy Repairs and Trouble Shooting
The North Texas Municipal District and Texas A&M AgriLife are hosting a virtual lunch and learn series on lawn care and irrigation. RCAS Exhibit at City Hall
The Richardson Civic Art Society has installed a new exhibit on the north wall of City Hall's main hallway. The colorful display includes framed and unframed creations of varying sizes, including oils, watercolors, collage and acrylic mediums.
