5’n Wine Social Run with Whole Foods Market 

Meet on the front patio of Whole Foods CityLine for a 5K run through Spring Creek Nature Area. Following the run, celebrate with a social hour at the Whole Foods bar.

Alamo Drafthouse – Summer Kids Camp - “Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween”

During the summer break, Alamo Drafthouse is showing a movie for little kids, big kids and grownup kids each week. The selection of movies ranges from recent animated favorites to timeless classics. Catch a showing of “Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween.”

Plant and Sip 

Learn how easily and effortlessly succulent plants can take your home décor to the next level. This step-by-step class will take your through the featured project of planting succulents in a spring-themed wood container.

“Made in the Shade” 

This concert will feature the new RCBeboppers Jazz Band, made up of members from the Richardson Community Band. The Band will play beloved jazz standards like “Fly Me to the Moon’ and “One O’clock Jump.” Catherine Nodurft will also sing “Fever.”

Rocky Mountaineer Trip 

Take a trip from your armchair. Travel through the Canadian Rockies in comfort on the train: great service, good food, beautiful scenery, interesting stops and nice hotels. Hear travel stories and advice from Richard Cudlipp. Attendees are welcome to bring a lunch.

2023 Summer Family Fun Days: Trail and Outdoor Safety for Families 

This class helps kids ages 6-12 and their parents connect with nature. Learn about what kids should take on a day hike, and what to do if they get lost. There will also be a chance to practice some survival skills.

The IQ® Brew | Aug. 10

The IQ® Brew will host a discussion on Transportation Broadband with NCTCOG Transportation Planners Collin Moffett and Connor Sadro. The topic of discussion will be: Leveraging Technology for Smart Mobility and Sustainability: NCTCOG’s Freight Optimization and Digital Infrastructure Programs in the DFW Metroplex.

The IQ® Brew is a free, public networking and educational series hosted at the Richardson IQ® HQ featuring short presentations from entrepreneurs, small business owners and subject-matter experts.
