Meet on the front patio of Whole Foods CityLine for a 5K run through Spring Creek Nature Area. Following the run, celebrate with a social hour at the Whole Foods bar.

Alamo Drafthouse

Alamo Drafthouse – Summer Kids Camp - “Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween”

During the summer break, Alamo Drafthouse is showing a movie for little kids, big kids and grownup kids each week. The selection of movies ranges from recent animated favorites to timeless classics. Catch a showing of “Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween.”

“Made in the Shade” 

This concert will feature the new RCBeboppers Jazz Band, made up of members from the Richardson Community Band. The Band will play beloved jazz standards like “Fly Me to the Moon’ and “One O’clock Jump.” Catherine Nodurft will also sing “Fever.”

Take a trip from your armchair. Travel through the Canadian Rockies in comfort on the train: great service, good food, beautiful scenery, interesting stops and nice hotels. Hear travel stories and advice from Richard Cudlipp. Attendees are welcome to bring a lunch.

John Bunker Sands Wetland Center

2023 Summer Family Fun Days: Trail and Outdoor Safety for Families 

This class helps kids ages 6-12 and their parents connect with nature. Learn about what kids should take on a day hike, and what to do if they get lost. There will also be a chance to practice some survival skills.

Time: 10 a.m.-noon (Wednesday)
