Letter From Santa
Kids of all ages can get a personalized letter from Santa Claus. The letter is addressed specifically to the individual child and sent on very special stationary. You can get a form from the front desk at Huffhines Recreation Center. Letters will start being mailed the last week of November.

Tales for Tails
Kids in grades K-4 can work on reading skills and meet some friendly canine companions when they read to live therapy dogs. They will attend independently for 10-minute sessions with a dog. All ages will be welcome to meet the dogs after the event at 4 p.m.

This holiday season you can see more than half a million holiday lights that brighten CityLine. There will also be an 18-foot Christmas tree for you to capture the perfect photo with family, friends and pets.

Annual Christmas Parade
Attend the 51st annual City of Richardson Christmas Parade. This year’s theme is “The Parade of Misfit Toys.” Bands, floats, decorated vehicles and Santa and Mrs. Claus will delight onlookers during the parade.
Registration is now open for organizations wishing to participate in the Christmas Parade. Parade registration closes at 11:59 p.m., Nov. 20. Entry fees and new, unwrapped toys will go to Network of Community Ministries. To register, visit www.cor.net/christmasparade.
If you want to participate, but not as an entry, consider volunteering. Volunteers are needed to help with staging and to be parade marshals.
Friends of the Parade VIP Packages are also one sale. Friends of the Parade receive a parking pass, complimentary refreshments, reserved seating and donation to Network in their name.
