CityLine LIGHTS

This holiday season you can see more than half a million holiday lights that brighten CityLine. There is also an 18-foot Christmas tree for you to capture the perfect photo with family, friends and pets.

Teen Program - “Like, Oh My Gosh...Murder!” 80s Murder Mystery 

Teens ages 13-18 only can join the Richardson Public Library for a totally tubular, 80s-themed murder mystery event.

Saturday Morning Kids 

Join the Richardson Public Library for a family storytime program geared toward children ages 3-6. All children must be accompanied by at least one adult.  

This event is now held in the Library Storytime Room.

Birds

1st Saturday Walk and Talk Bird Tour 

Join the John Bunker Sands Wetland Center to learn about the birds that live there. The tour is geared toward beginner and intermediate birders. Learn how to use binoculars and field guides, keep a life list and identify birds.

Death Express Pegasus Theatre

Pegasus Theatre - “Death Express” 

It’s all aboard for comedy and mayhem as Harry Hunsacker and his paid-by-the-hour assistant Nigel Grouse take a cross country train trip bound for murder. Naturally, Lt. Foster of the real police is along for the ride. As bodies pile up, the intrepid trio must untangle hidden motives and a cast of unlikely suspects to identify a killer in their midst.  

Please note that due to the special effects in this performance, the theater is held at a cool temperature; audiences are advised to dress warmly.

Sensing Deep Space 

The nonprofit SciArt Exchange reveals an installment called “Sensing Deep Space: Pandora’s Cluster.” It draws inspiration from “Pandora’s Cluster,” a galactic collision of several galaxy clusters located approximately four billion light years away. The performance incorporates cutting-edge technologies to create a multi-sensory experience.

Watercolor

Beginner Watercolor Class 

Join the Richardson Senior Center for this beginner watercolor class where participants will learn basic techniques. Attendees will also review the color wheel and how to use it. The class will have a different theme each week.

Join the Richardson Senior Center to learn about hidden features on your smartphone, new scams to be aware of and more. There will also be plenty of time for questions and answers, so BYOT (Bring Your Own Technology) and leave feeling more confident about how to make the most of your phones, tablets and laptops.
