Sensing Deep Space
The nonprofit SciArt Exchange reveals an installment called “Sensing Deep Space: Pandora’s Cluster.” It draws inspiration from “Pandora’s Cluster,” a galactic collision of several galaxy clusters located approximately 4 billion light years away. The performance incorporates cutting-edge technologies to create a multi-sensory experience.

Pegasus Theatre - “Death Express”
It’s all aboard for comedy and mayhem as Harry Hunsacker and his paid-by-the-hour assistant Nigel Grouse take a cross country train trip bound for murder. Naturally, Lt. Foster of the real police is along for the ride. As bodies pile up, the intrepid trio must untangle hidden motives and a cast of unlikely suspects to identify a killer in their midst.
Please note that due to the special effects in this performance, the theater is held at a cool temperature; audiences are advised to dress warmly.

Movie of the Month: “Victoria and Abdul”
Join the Richardson Senior Center to view the movie “Victoria and Abdul.” It is about Abdul Karim who arrives from India to participate in Queen Victoria’s golden jubilee. The young clerk is surprised to find favor with the queen herself. As Victoria questions the constrictions of her long-held position, the two forge an unlikely and devoted alliance that her household and inner circle try to destroy. As their friendship deepens, the queen begins to see a changing world through new eyes, joyfully reclaiming her humanity. Membership to the Senior Center is not required.

Cooking Well for Healthy Blood Pressure
Hosted by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, join the Senior Center for a cooking school designed to help those concerned about high blood pressure and anyone who prepares meals for them. This series of three interactive classes is full of research-based information and healthy recipes. Sessions include: “DASHing Your Way to Improved Health,” “A Virtual Grocery Store Tour” and “Cooking with Spices and Herbs.” Membership to the Senior Center is not required.

TAPN2TAP: A Tribute to Tap Dance
Past, present and future stars of tap dance come together to show gratitude, respect and admiration to this American percussive art form. Performers from on and off Broadway, stage and screen, and jazz clubs across the world will light up the TAPNTAP stage with their amazing tap dance skills. Along with live music from the RIFF Dallas Jazz Band, this is a must-see show.

Around the World – Galapagos Islands
Join the Richardson Senior Center for a virtual tour. Fly to Ecuador and take a charter jet 500 miles east across the Pacific Ocean. This is a special time, as it is mating season for all the birds, land and sea animals in this unique island paradise. Participants will also explore Darwin’s theory of evolution. Membership to the Senior Center is not required.
