Pokémon Gym Badge Challenge
Catch ‘em all with Pokémon-inspired tasks. Receive a special Pokémon button upon completion and enter to win the grand prize drawing for your age group. Grand prize drawings will be held at the beginning of March. This event is for ages 3-18. Participants can only enter once and receive one button.

Access+Inclusion 24 – Public Luncheon
This event features a plated lunch and a keynote address from former WNBA player, Olympic Gold Medalist and mental health advocate Chamique Holdsclaw. She will share her personal struggles with depression and how she has been able to seek help and manage her own mental health.

RISD PTA Used Book Fair
Find some great reads at the RISD Used Book Fair. All funds raised will go toward scholarships for graduating seniors at each of the four RISD high schools and teacher scholarships for continuing education.

Feb. 16
Birdwatching for Citizen Science
Join UT Dallas for a bird walk led by the Trinity River Audubon Center and participate in the Great Backyard Bird Count. It is the largest annual citizen science project. Participants do not need birdwatching experience or supplies.

Party for Langston Open Mic
Kids ages 6-18 can use their voices to celebrate famed African American poet Langston Hughes. They can share the works of Black poets inspired by Hughes or read their own poetry in honor of Black History Month. Original poems must be approved by the Librarian.

Voices Unveiled
The Voices Unveiled is a three-part original musical composition by Ehsan Matoori, featuring two phenomenal Iranian voices, Maliheh Moradi and Mina Deris. Inspired by Iranian traditional music and folk (specifically from the South of Iran), the composition incorporates fusion elements. It narrates the tragic stories of two women refugees who lost their lives.

It’s Time Texas Community Challenge: Zumba
Enjoy this free Zumba class as part of the It’s Time Texas (ITT) Community Challenge.

“Murder on the Orient Express”
One of Agatha Christie’s greatest novels springs to life in this thrilling new stage adaptation. Just after midnight, a snowdrift stops the Orient Express in its tracks.
