Budding Talent Vocal Competition
Kids in grades K-12 can enter the Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival's Budding Talent Vocal Competition. Participants could win a chance to perform at Wildflower! and win prizes.

“The Scenic Route”
The story chronicles the real-life adventures of a young man’s step in faith to risk everything to become a world-class scenic artist. Failure leads you to where you are meant to be.

Free Tax Prep Help
The American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) is offering free tax preparation help through April 15 at Heights and Huffhines Recreation Centers. Those wishing to take part need to complete an AARP tax packet, available at the Library and the recreation centers.
Time: 9 a.m.-2 p.m. (Appointments are available only on Mondays and Wednesdays)

Student Art Contest
Calling all elementary artists! Kids in grades K-6 can enter the Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival’s Student Art Contest. Participants could win prizes and tickets to Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival. The theme of this year’s contest is “Take a Walk in the Park.”

Simply Grace, a nonprofit organization in DFW for women, is hosting this fundraising event to encourage hope while combating stigma. The nonprofit will showcase talented individuals while bringing awareness to the community of the resources available to help those who may be struggling.

2024 Women’s Empowerment Leadership Conference

Kids ages 7-12 can visit the Minecraft LEGO Design Center, stop by the Minecraft photo booth, go on a treasure hunt and more. Tales for Tails
Kids in grades K-4 can work on reading skills and meet some friendly canine companions when they read to live therapy dogs. Kids attend independently for 10-minute sessions with a dog. All ages are welcome to meet the dogs at the end of the event.Time: 3-4 p.m. (Sunday)
