The story chronicles the real-life adventures of a young man’s step in faith to risk everything to become a world-class scenic artist. Failure leads you to where you are meant to be.

Tax Return

Free Tax Prep Help 

The American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) is offering free tax preparation help through April 15 at Heights and Huffhines Recreation Centers. Those wishing to take part need to complete an AARP tax packet, available at the Library and the recreation centers.  

Time: 9 a.m.-2 p.m. (Appointments are available only on Mondays and Wednesdays) 
Runs through April 15 
Location: Huffhines Recreation Center (Mondays), Heights Recreation Center (Wednesdays)

Student Art Contest Entry Form

Calling all elementary artists! Kids in grades K-6 can enter the Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival’s Student Art Contest. Participants could win prizes and tickets to Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival. The theme of this year’s contest is “Take a Walk in the Park.”

Kids ages 7-12 can visit the Minecraft LEGO Design Center, stop by the Minecraft photo booth, go on a treasure hunt and more. Activities are divided between the Council Chamber, Library Storytime Room and Youth Services Area. Be sure to visit all three to maximize your Minecraft experience.

Tales for Tails

Tales for Tails 

Kids in grades K-4 can work on reading skills and meet some friendly canine companions when they read to live therapy dogs. Kids attend independently for 10-minute sessions with a dog. All ages are welcome to meet the dogs at the end of the event.
