Student Art Contest
Calling all elementary artists! Kids in grades K-6 can enter the Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival’s Student Art Contest. Participants could win prizes and tickets to Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival. The theme of this year’s contest is “Take a Walk in the Park.”

Richardson Counselor in Training Program
The Richardson Parks and Recreation Counselor in Training (CIT) Program is designed to offer kids ages 13-17 an opportunity to prepare for positions as camp counselors or recreation leaders. Those interested in the CIT program must complete an application process, which includes an application, references and an interview. Applications are now being accepted.

Alamo Drafthouse Movie Party: “The Big Lebowski”
Join Alamo Drafthouse to see the “The Big Lebowski,” which includes endless quotable dialogue, a twist-filled mystery and iconic characters. Attendees will receive a bowling pin keychain, glow sticks that will make them feel as if they’re a part of the The Dude’s epic dream sequences and more.

Google Productivity: Docs, Sheets and Slides
Adults can take this class that is an introduction to Google Docs, Sheets and Slides. Participants will learn how to create, share and receive new documents, spreadsheets and presentations.

CityLine Live – Emsy Robinson
Live music returns to the outdoor plaza each Friday and Saturday in April and May. Hear music from soul/pop rock artist Emsy Robinson. Lawn chairs, picnic blankets and pups are welcome and encouraged.

2024 Trash Bash
This annual event includes residential cooking/oil grease disposal, a book drive, a free bag of Texas Pure compost or mulch, a collection event for Network of Community Ministries and a Lion’s Club eyeglasses collection. In conjunction with Trash Bash, the Richardson Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association will be hosting their annual electronics recycling event. There will be separate locations offering different services.

3rd Saturday Guided Boardwalk Tour

Monoprint Workshop
This class is for beginner to advanced artists. Learn the most “painterly” printmaking process. The resulting images are spontaneous and colorful. Microsoft Excel Intermediate
Participants of this class must have taken Microsoft Excel Beginner or have equivalent experience. In this class attendees will understand absolute vs relative calculations, learn how to create graphs, add subtotals, functions and comments in cells and how to use the special sum function.

Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain
Eisemann Center Presents The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain. The Orchestra’s 37-year-long career has taken them to Carnegie Hall, Glastonbury festival, the North Pole, and China to Estonia via Japan, Australia and the Isle of Man, garnering hordes of fans and imitators along the way.

Registration is now open for the Wildflower! Cornhole Tournament, which will take place at the festival. The grand prize is a $125 gift card to Scheels, with second place bringing home a $50 Scheels gift card. Registration deadline is May 12.
