Councilmember Jennifer Justice Named an Officer of NCTCOG's Executive Board

Councilmember Justice will serve as the new secretary-treasurer

Richardson City Councilmember Jennifer Justice has been named the secretary-treasurer for the North Central Texas Council of Governments’ (NCTCOG) Executive Board. She previously served as a director on the Board from 2023-24.

Councilmember Justice, an attorney, holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University and a law degree from the SMU Dedman School of Law. She was in private practice and focused on areas of financial and commercial litigation before becoming a litigator for a Fortune 50 company. Prior to becoming an attorney, she served as the director of global community building for a nonprofit for almost a decade.

Councilmember Justice also currently serves as the City Council’s liaison to the Animal Services Advisory Commission and as a member of the Council’s Education Committee and Business Committee.

NCTCOG is a voluntary association of local governments within the North Central Texas 16-county region. The Executive Board is made up of 17 locally elected officials and one ex-officio non-voting member of the legislature. The Board makes policies for activities managed by NCTCOG.

Councilmember Justice will serve in her new role as the secretary-treasurer through June 2025.
