Envision Richardson Comprehensive Plan Update
The third Community Summit for the Envision Richardson Comprehensive Plan Update is gathering feedback from you and others in the community who are interested in determining Richardson’s future. The Richardson comprehensive plan serves as the City’s outline for future land use, property development, zoning decisions and guides choices regarding public investments in transportation and other infrastructure required to support future growth. Don’t miss the opportunity to contribute your perspectives using this online survey.

Aquatics Master Plan
The City of Richardson is undertaking an Aquatics Master Plan that will develop a long-term plan for the appropriate level of aquatic services for the community. Your feedback, suggestions and input are needed to ensure the City is meeting the current and future needs of the community. You can participate in the community survey to share your thoughts on future of aquatics facilities in Richardson.

Books and Music with the Richardson Symphony Orchestra
At this Library- and Richardson Reads One Book (RROB)-sponsored event, join Laurie Garvie of the Richardson Symphony Orchestra for a discussion of Brendan Slocumb’s Symphony of Secrets, followed by a live performance by the Richardson Symphony Orchestra string quartet. This program is for all ages.

Lunchtime Lecture: President Harry S. Truman

Social Determinants of Health
Many aspects affect your health including where you live, economic status, hereditary, etc. Not all health issues are physical. Join the Richardson Senior Center for a presentation that will explore those factors. Membership to the Senior Center is not required.

“Poodles Postmen and Pastrami”
Annie Lipski, a dog groomer to the “Hollywood Stars,” returns to her hometown where she finds her parents’ business, a combination sushi bar, feed store and kosher deli, totally trashed. Behind the deed is “Slick” Wallace as part of a ruthless plot to take over the store for his employer, Scarbucks. To make matters worse, Annie’s parents were killed in an accidental - or was it? - collapse of a fertilizer bin.

Comanche Nation: Firsthand Stories
Hawana Townsley, great-granddaughter of Quanah Parker and Weckeah, will present about her family history, the Comanche Nation and the way she was taught by her grandmother and mother. This Library-sponsored program is for all ages.

Golf Ranch Classic
Golf Ranch Richardson will host the first Golf Ranch Classic. Fun and competition will collide on the virtual greens, featuring an 18-hole scramble with LongDrive and Closest to the Pin contests, food and drink specials, prizes and swag bags for all participants.

Tales for Tails
Kids entering grades K-4 only can work on reading skills and meet some friendly canine companions when they read to live therapy dogs. Kids can attend independently for 10-minute sessions with a dog. All ages are welcome to meet the dogs after the event at 4 p.m.

Summer Theatre Camps
Kids and teens can join the Repertory Company Theatre for camps that focus on acting, voice and dance. Students will work together to either put on a performance of “CATS Young Actor’s Edition” or “Beauty and the Beast Jr.” Registration for these camps is now open.
