Dialogue Institute Dallas 2024-2025 Art Contest 

The Dialogue Institue Dallas announced its 2024-2025 Art Contest’s theme of “Empathy: Walking in Another’s Shoes.” High school and college students from charter, public and private institutions in the DFW area are eligible to participate. The categories include painting/drawing and photography/video.

OutLoud See Me

“See Me” - OutLoud Dallas and Eisemann Center Presents 

“See Me” is an innovative interactive theatrical performance and exhibition developed by OutLoud Dallas in collaboration with Chicago-based artist Ruben Carrazana. This groundbreaking project challenges audiences to ask why stories are important to us, and how technology has changed the way we share our stories. Utilizing cutting-edge technology, “See Me” immerses audiences in the diverse stories of community members, focusing primarily on youth voice.

Eisemann Center Presents a small reception on the first Friday night of each month completely free and open to the public to celebrate the new exhibit in the Forrest and Virginia Green Mezzanine Gallery. The exhibiting artist will often be available to chat with visitors about their work.

Free 5-gallon trees will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last, as part of the Richardson Replants initiative. This lecture is open to all, but trees are only available to Richardson residents with an ID.

Volunteers from the League of Women Voters of Richardson will be available to help register voters, update addresses or name changes and verify registration status.

CarFit Presentation – AARP Driver Safety 

This is an interactive and educational program that will properly assist older drivers on how to make their personal vehicles “fit” them to increase safety and mobility when they hit the road. There will be a trained technician to teach you how to personalize your vehicle to fit you. There will be a chance to sign up for an appointment after the presentation.
