“The Horror”
UT Dallas’ SP/N Gallery presents “The Horror,” an exhibition featuring artists who use the horror genre to create disturbing, mystical, romantic and comic effects. It includes painting, sculpture, video, new media and a special film screening.

Dialogue Institute Dallas 2024-2025 Art Contest
The Dialogue Institute Dallas announced its 2024-2025 Art Contest’s theme of “Empathy: Walking in Another’s Shoes.” High school and college students from charter, public and private institutions in the DFW area are eligible to participate. The categories include painting/drawing and photography/video. Students can start working on their submissions during their summer break.

Aquatics Master Plan Public Meetings
Two public meetings are being held to further share opportunities for aquatics based on the next phase of the City’s Aquatics Master Plan, which was recommended from the Parks, Recreation and Open Space Master Plan. The plan will provide long-term strategies for aquatic services and facilities for the community.

Jazzmeia Horn with Texins Jazz Band and GDYO Jazz Orchestra
The Texins Jazz Band has a 38-year history of producing concerts featuring great guest artists. The next guest is internationally acclaimed artist, Jazzmeia Horn. The Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra (GDYO) Jazz Orchestra will open the show.

“Anatomy of a Murder”

COR Day Camps – Fall Camp
Fall Break Camp is a three-day program on Monday-Wednesday the week of Thanksgiving while RISD is out of school. Campers ages 5-11 will enjoy various games, activities, and fall-themed crafts both indoors and outdoors (weather-permitting). Please bring a sack lunch, water bottle, closed-toe shoes, a snack, and a jacket.
