With waterline work associated with the Custer Parkway Reconstruction Project substantially complete in Segments 1 and 2, work on the next phase—sanitary sewer installation in Segment 2—is scheduled to begin on or shortly after May 14, weather permitting.
This phase will take place between White Cliff Drive and Lookout Drive. While work is underway, all traffic will be shifted to the southbound (west) side of Custer Parkway, with one lane open in each direction.
Please note the following impacts during this phase of construction:
- On-street parking will not be allowed along the active construction segment.
- Trash and recycling services along alleys will continue as normal. If your collection is curbside, please continue placing bins on the street—contractors will relocate them to a designated pick-up area.
- Driveway access will be maintained, except when work is directly in front of a property. Temporary access will be provided either by cutting through the median or allowing side entry.
If you have any questions or require special accommodations, please contact David Cruz, P.E., at david.cruz@cor.gov or 972-744-4271.
