Alamo Drafthouse Time Capsule 1975 – “Switchblade Sisters”

Bike-friendly Driver Class
Richardson’s Transportation and Mobility Department is hosting a driver-focused training class to educate motorists on how to be careful when driving around cyclists. Topics covered include why you see cyclists riding in the roadways and specific movements they may make, while helping drivers develop a shared understanding for all road users. Membership to the Richardson Senior Center is not required.

Summer STEM Program
This five-day immersive program with the John Bunker Sands Wetland Center introduces teens to the wetland ecology, environmental science and engineering through guided fieldwork, lab investigations and nature walks. Daily themes include wetland ecology and wildlife, bird biology (ornithology), eco-engineering and design, Blackland Prairie habitats and local geology.

Dive-In Movies – Tickets on Sale
Splash into the lap pool or float through the lazy river during these Dive-In Movie events at Heights Family Aquatics Center. On Friday, July 18 bring the family out to watch “Moana 2.” Then, on Friday, Aug. 15, those 18 years and older can watch “Mean Girls.” Lifeguards will be on duty. All rules of the pool must be followed.
