Ghosts, princesses, witches and superheroes unite! Sign up to participate in the Huffhines Harvest Fest costume contest hosted by J-Si from the Kidd Kraddick Morning Show, for a chance to win cash prizes. First place prizes will be awarded in all of the following categories.

Disc Golf at Breckinridge Park 

Play a round (or two) of disc golf at Breckinridge Park. The disc golf course at Breckinridge Park was designed by Eric McCabe, one of the most-renowned disc golf course designers, and the winner of the 2010 Professional Disc Golf Association World Championship.

Stormwater Pollution

Clean Water Starts at Home: Stormwater Pollution Workshop 

Come out to the City of Richardson Republic Services Building for an informative workshop on stormwater pollution by the North Texas Municipal Water Districts Watershed Manager, Lauren Plunk. This session is designed for homeowners and neighborhood associations and will cover common sources of stormwater contamination, including grass clippings and leaf litter, improper disposal of household hazardous waste, oil and fluids from vehicles, pet waste and swimming pool discharge (including saltwater pools). Learn practical ways to reduce runoff, protect local waterways and keep our community’s water clean. Residents will also receive tips, resources and opportunities to get involved in protecting Richardson’s environment.

Come out for this annual free fall festival. In addition to shopping, there will be live performances from local talent, concessions offering your favorite treats, family activities including pumpkin decorating, free face painting, and pumpkin tic tac toe, as well as the perfect fall backdrop for photos. On Saturday, pet parents can also enjoy Pawtowberfest with their furry friends.

Pawtoberfest Costume Contest

Pawtoberfest Costume Contest & Puppy Yoga – Registration Open

Registration is open for Pawtoberfest’s popular pet costume contest and rescue puppy yoga. Dress your pup up in their spookiest, silliest or most spectacular costume for a chance to win a prize. Awards given to first, second and third place across categories.  

Get in a full-body stretch in our 45-minute yoga session while surrounded by the joy of puppies. All puppies are adoptable rescues from Dallas RRR (Rescue, Rehab, Reform). You might even find your newest furry family member. Class is led by the fabulous instructors from Sayto Yoga Dallas.

Creative Community Circle – Decoupage Clipboard 

Come gather around a big table and craft alongside other artists, creatives and crafters. Bring your latest art, craft, sewing or other creative project to work on and/or learn how to make an easy, upcycled craft of the month using repurposed materials. This month’s craft is a decoupage clipboard. This come-and-go event is for adults and teens and is sponsored by the Richardson Public Library.

Inferno: Fire at the Cocoanut Grove 1942 

On Nov. 28, 1942, a deadly fire tore through the Cocoanut Grove nightclub in Boston, killing nearly 500 people. The rapid spread of flames, coupled with inadequate safety measures, trapped patrons in a nightmare of smoke and chaos. This production explores the events of that tragic night, the heroism shown in the face of disaster, and the lasting changes in fire safety laws that followed.

TwoSet Violin World Tour presented by KD Schmid US, Inc. 

Australian violinists Brett Yang and Eddy Chen founded “TwoSet Violin” in 2013. The duo will debut their first ever symphonic show titled “Sacrilegious Games” in this North American leg of their 2025-26 World Tour, which includes collaborations with the Seattle, San Francisco, Vancouver, New Jersey, Atlanta and Toronto Symphonies with additional concerts presented by Chicago Symphony Presents, Performing Arts Houston, Ensemble Arts Philly and more.
