Traffic along Custer Parkway between West Lookout Drive and Fall Creek Drive will shift to the northbound lanes next week as the Custer Parkway Reconstruction Project moves to a new phase.
The new traffic pattern is expected to take effect Thursday, Jan. 15, weather permitting. Both northbound and southbound traffic will shift to newly constructed northbound lanes (one lane in each direction) on the east side of Custer Parkway. During this time, bike lanes will remain closed and on-street parking will continue to be prohibited within the construction zone.
Since May 2025, traffic has been traveling in the southbound lanes while crews worked to complete the opposite side of the roadway, including utility replacements.
