“A Murder is Announced”

An announcement in the local paper states the time and place when a murder is to occur in Miss Blacklock’s Victorian house. The victim is not one of the house’s several occupants, but an unexpected and unknown visitor. What follows is a classic Agatha Christie puzzle of mixed motives, concealed identities, a second death and a determined inspector grimly following the case’s twists and turns. Fortunately, Miss Marple is on hand to provide the solution, at some risk to herself, in a dramatic final confrontation.

Say it with Flowers Nebula Exhibit

Jessica Fichot with Special Guest Annie Zhou

Find It with Google

This Richardson Public Library-sponsored program is an introductory class in Google tools such as Google Search, Google Images, YouTube and Google Maps with hands-on practice. 3rd Saturday Guided Boardwalk Tour 

Learn about the John Bunker Sands Wetland Center’s ecosystem’s flora, fauna and the history of the property. You will learn about the design of the wetland, the relationship the wetland has with water supply and the interaction between human engineering and nature.

Tales for Tails

DAAYO Spring Concert 

The String Explorers, Junior Strings and Concert Strings of the Dallas Asian American Youth Orchestra (DAAYO) are featured in this spring concert, the three string orchestras that form the foundation of DAAYO’s educational programs, drawing talented young musicians from around the DFW area. A fun afternoon or evening of music and a great outing for the whole family.

Daddy Daughter Dance – Disco Cowgirl: Tickets on Sale

Attend the annual Daddy Daughter Dance and enjoy a lovely evening filled with dancing, dinner, games, photo opportunities and creating core memories with your little sweetheart. Dinner is included with the price. A professional DJ will keep the dancefloor busy all night. Photo booths are self-service and free. A prize will be given out to the daughter with the most on-theme outfit, but themed outfits are not required. The theme of the event is Disco Cowgirl.
