“Groundbreakers” brings together artists who played with materiality, space and performance in postwar Japan and Korea after the 1950s. This exhibition is organized by The University of Texas at Dallas in collaboration with The Dallas Museum of Art.

Clean Water Starts at Home Workshop 

Learn how everyday activities can impact local waterways through common sources of pollution such as grass clippings, leaves, improper disposal of household hazardous waste, vehicle oil and fluid leaks, pet waste and swimming pool discharge, including saltwater pools. Participants will gain practical tips to help reduce runoff, protect water quality and keep the community clean and healthy.

Sailing Adventure

Adaptive Sailing Adventure

Join the Parks and Recreation Department’s Adaptive Program at the Harbor in Rockwall and enjoy a walk along the pier. Board the Sapphire Star for a 90-minute cruise under the colorful evening sky on Lake Ray Hubbard. All participants must have some form of disability to participate. Bring extra money for dinner. There will be dinner at the harbor before heading to the waterfront. Manual wheelchairs only. Sailing begins at 7:30 p.m. The sunset cruise makes for a wonderful after-dinner treat.
